A district court judge in Texas dismissed a lawsuit filed by Ahmed Mohamed and his 15-year-old son, Ahmed Mohamed, better known as clock boy.
Clock boy and his dad sued Fox News, Glenn Beck, and the mayor of Irving, Texas — among others — for defamation.
If you don’t recall clock boy built a clock that looked a lot like a bomb. Took it to school. After hours where teachers and other school officials questioned him about what it was, and he refused to answer, they called police.
Liberals were outraged, until it came out clock boy refused to answer any questions about what damn sure looked like a bomb, then they shut up.
They were soon humiliated when the family soon left for a victory lap in the Mid-east and Sudan, raising money as they went. It was a staged event plain and simple.
If that wasn’t bad enough clock boy sued. He is a refugee here – just for the record.
Justice has been done. Not only did Clock boy lose, but he will most likely have to pay the lawyer’s fees for the people he sued.
Because if you bring a frivolous suit you pay, clock boy.
Upon leaving the courtroom, Yerushalmi made the following statement:
American Freedom Law Center senior counsel David Yerushalm said of the courtroom victory,
“This lawsuit filed by Clock Boy’s father is yet another example of Islamist lawfare, which is a component of the Muslim Brotherhood’s civilization jihad.”
Yerushalmi further explained,
“The purpose of such lawsuits, formally labelled Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (“SLAPP”), is to intimidate into silence those who might comment publicly on the connection between jihad, terrorism, sharia, and Islam.”
“The Islamists employ the progressive mainstream media to label any public criticism of a sharia-centric, jihad-driven Islam as “Islamophobic,” and they add fear and financial ruin to the equation by utilizing the legal system to file SLAPP actions.”
