Former Vice President Joe Biden took the stage Thursday afternoon and blasted Hillary Clinton before saying he may run against Trump in 2020.
Biden was speaking at the annual SALT conference in Las Vegas. As per usual with the democrats, this speech was a highly-paid gig in front of Wall Street hedge fund managers.
But what Biden did with the money proves he may be the only honest liberal in America. And that he might have beaten Trump if he ran.
Biden was paid $200,000 for the speech. Think of that America, $200,000 for one speech and Biden gets a huge pension for life. And after Hillary and Bill took all their money we are still paying their pensions?
But Biden did something unexpected and proved that he would have been a much better candidate that Hillary. He actually told the crowd of greedy Wall Street executives he was going to donate the whole fee to charity.
That’s when a strange thing happened – the crowd went nuts and gave him a standing ovation.
Maybe they were trying to comment on how Hillary’s duplicity cost her the election or maybe they felt guilty because it was their money that corrupted Hillary and led to Trump’s win?
Who knows, but with liberals and Wall Street, it is a good idea to follow the money.
Speaking of running for President, Biden said, according to The Street:
“Could I? Yes. Would I? Probably no. You should never run for president unless you can look the public in the eye, and say ‘I give you my word, you’ll have all my energy and all my time.’ My family has to get back together. If I get those things done, and I’m healthy and viable, and it looks like I’m the best man to do it, I may very well do it, but my family comes first.”
Biden then ripped into Hillary Clinton saying she was a horrible candidate and based on the audience response they all agreed. Biden went on, turning the screws to Hillary:
“No man or woman should announce for the presidency unless they genuinely believe that for the that moment in the nation’s history they are the most qualified person to deal with the issues facing the country.”
Hillary was not – the book “Shattered” about her campaign says no one on her staff (including Hillary herself) knew why she was running which is why they had terrible slogans. Whereas Trump’s mission to MAGA was clear from day 1.
